PROCEDURE: Chickens were immunized with recombinant Protein A and egg yolks were collected. An IgY enriched fraction was prepared, antibody was immunoaffinity purified off an antigen containing immunosorbent and conjugated with biotin. Antibody concentration was determined using an absorbance at 280 nm: 1.32 equals 1.0 mg of IgY.
SPECIFICATIONS: This antibody reacts with Protein A as determined by blotting and ELISA techniques. Optimal working dilutions should be determined experimentally by the investigator.
